What are Adjudicated Youth?: 

What are Adjudicated Youth? A youth that has been found by a judge to have violated the law and sentenced.

J U V E N I L E A R R E S T S 24% resulted in a judicial disposition of out-of-home placement (i.e., placement in a residential treatment center, juvenile corrections facility, foster home, or group home) 62% resulted in an order of probation; 10 % resulted in some other disposition , such as restitution, fines, community service, or referral to other treatment agencies; and 4 % were released at disposition without sanction.
