Put your cares aside for awhile. Allow God’s peace to rest in you. Be one with God. Move to the next slide when you sense God inviting you to Slide 3: Begin by speaking to the Lord: “Dear Jesus, I am just days away from celebrating your birth. Your coming changed the way we love God and one another. I am excited. I can’t wait. Grant me generosity to welcome you this Christmas time. Teach me to love, again. But Ahaz answered,“I will not ask! I will not tempt the LORD!” Then Isaiah said:Listen, O house of David!Is it not enough for you to weary people, must you also weary my God?Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign: the virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel. Use these words if they help… “Dear Mary, I see you holding Jesus. I want to hold Jesus in too.
