Look at him now...Our Brave Soldiers: Our Brave Soldiers Ranger Andy Allen was hit by an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) in 2008 whilst on tour in Afghanistan. The force of the horrific blast lifted him off the ground and tore off his right leg it also burnt the corneas in his eyes, leaving Andy blind.A hero to his country!: A hero to his country! He lost his leg and arm fighting for you...He dies for people he doesn't even know...: He dies for people he doesn't even know... She wrote to us and explained;PowerPoint Presentation: 'As much as James's loss has been unimaginably heartbreaking, I am doing my utmost to deal with everything in a way befitting of James. If in life, at the tender age of 18, James was able to demonstrate such courage, bravery and selflessness, then I owe it to him to deal with his death with the same strengthPowerPoint Presentation: I am also painfully aware that most people don't get to hear about our lads who come home having sustained horrendous and unimaginable injuries, and this is why I am so keen to make sure that we do think of them also and do everything we can to raise money which will benefit them in coping with life.’ We have created this page as a place where we can offer families and friends the chance to remember their loved ones and in doing so help those who live with their wounds.PowerPoint Presentation: You will never replace them, nor want to.
