Voice - Instructional audio tools include the interactive technologies of telephone, audio-conferencing, and short-wave radio. Passive (i.e., one-way) audio tools include tapes and radio. Video - Instructional video tools include still images such as slides, pre-produced moving images (e.g., film, videotape), and real-time moving images combined with audio-conferencing Data - Computers send and receive information electronically. The term "data" is used to describe this broad category of instructional tools. Computer applications for distance education are varied Print - is a foundational element of distance education programs and the basis from which all other delivery systems have evolved. Various print formats are available including: textbooks, study guides, workbooks, course syllabi, and case studies. Major formats of information used in IT

Weather : Daily information of maximum and minimum temperature, day length, direction and speed of wind, rain fall, relative humidity and weather forecasting. Alert : information regarding type of disaster, sudden change in weather, outbreak of diseases & insects, government information also. Insurance : A detail information about insurance of farmer, his crop, animal and agricultural assets like tractors, implements and tools ect. General awareness : Information about vaccination, cleanliness, health, family planning and nutrition.

Animal Science : The Detail regarding the local animal and well known diseases, better breeds, balanced feed, shed management, health ect. Should be there. This Web-Site will available 24 Hour a Day, 365 days a Year. It does not sleep or doesn't go on leave.

A point to point videoconference is a meeting between individuals at two sites; a multi – point meeting connects further sites into the meeting Benefits of Videoconferencing : A Videoconferencing meeting is usually brief and more focused than a face-to-face meeting. Video and data conferencing enables virtual project management by getting together geographically dispersed peer groups at short notice. It provides an effective way of delivering cost-efficient training to individuals without the requirement to consistently travel to central locations

Online Market Information System The present MIS comprises of the Information in the forms of the reports. The marketing officers daily collect the prices but this information is not easily accessible to the farmers because there is no systematic way of dissemination. The Online system will have the advantage of giving the price Information which would be updated daily. Besides price information there are also host of market information which would be necessary for the farmers to make decision.

National Institute of Agricultural Marketing is putting the Market Information on the web for the benefit of farmer. Such a system is successfully running in Maharashtra ( www.falbazar.com ). This is purely a MIS site. Another one is ( www.upagrimart.com ) of Utter Pradesh. The online MIS provides current market rate and arrival which enables the producer to take the informed and hence a better decision for selling his produce.

Booths on Internet This is another application of IT in Agricultural Marketing, which better understood as Virtual Shops. These shops would display the catalogue of products, Quality, Delivery mode, Payment ect. The Web site www.farmersmarketonline.com is one innovation whereby sellers of varity of products have opened the booths.

Village Information Kiosks Village Information Kiosks are other wise known as Cyber Cafes in rural areas or Cyber offices. This is a successful application of IT in villages where awareness on different Government programs, Schemes, Market Information can be accessed by Rural people. Cyber offices, it also providing office Automation package like MS-Office & Leap Office(Local Language) for Documentation, Report Generation & Other facility to the farmers.
