A tsunami is a series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large volume of a body of water, usually an ocean, though it can occur in large lakes. Tsunamis are a frequent occurrence in Japan; approximately 195 events have been recorded.Slide 3: Introducing the devastation in Japan………Slide 5: The beginning of the day was expected to reveal the full extent of the death and damage from 11 th March’s 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the 10-meter high tsunami it sent surging into cities and villages, sweeping away everything in its path.Slide 7: We all know and hear about the tsunami that occurred in Japan. After the Earthquake which is very hard, which Magnitude 8.9, SR. Then came the Tsunami in the State of the Rising Sun. This gave Japan a very big shock. 50 people are opted to take care of the remaining reactors. The death toll in the disaster was approaching to be 10,000 with many more missing and injured. Now, Japan has to spend $ 300 billion to recover all over to normal.The Seventh Day….: The Seventh Day…. This is the seventh day of the huge disaster. It’s been a week of this disaster. So many people are dead, missing and injured. Sendai, a city in Japan had to see the most devastation.
