Introduction : 

Introduction In this section we are going to discuss about the Parle products. As we know that in the world of biscuits, candies and toffees the most popular name is Parle. Here, we also going to introduce you with the history, future planning, and marketing strategies. Through this project you may also encountered with the requirements .

History : 

Implement by Sh. Mohan Lal Dayal in 1929 by the name of “PARLE PRODUCTS” under British dominated India. After sometime a small factory was setup in the suburbs of Mumbai, to manufacture sweets and toffees. Parle won many international awards. In 1939-glucose biscuits, 1949-monaco(salty biscuits) and 1983-melody(candy) parle made special attempts to increase their product list. History

Interesting facts : 

Interesting facts Parle deals with 32 products including biscuits , toffee and candies . Around 10000 workers are employed in parle. In all over the world parle has 7 mother unit and 65 manufacturing units on contract. Aamir Khan and Hritik Roshan are the brand ambassador of parle. It has world’s largest machines at their manufacturing plant.

Position in the market : 

Position in the market As we know that parle is no. 1 seller of biscuits. Out of total share of market parle’s share is: 45% share of market is occupied by parle biscuits. 35% share of market is occupied by Britannia biscuits. Rest of 20% share of market is occupied by other brands like sun feast(ITC). In case of confectionary it has 15% share in the market.

Marketing strategies : 

Marketing strategies To promote their products, parle’s management staff adopt some marketing strategies. These are as follows: Pricing strategies: all the products of parle in the market sold at a very reasonable price which help them to promote their products. Advertising strategies: to promote their product parle use several advertising methods. Extra packages: after regular time intervals parle gives attractive offers on their products, which helps the management in increasing their sales.

Conclusion As per the surveys parle is largest selling biscuits and many other products also. It is best in its quality. It has reasonable price and easily available in the market. All these qualities of parle products makes it no.1 brand in the lines of biscuits, toffees and candies.
