Consciousness Collins English :Dictionary conscious adj. a. denoting or relating to a part of the human mind that is aware of a person’s self, environment, and mental activity and that to a certain extent determines his choices of action. b. (as n.) the conscious is only a small part of the mind. Compare unconscious.

what is this consciousness? : 

what is this consciousness? Consciousness means to be conscious of something. I am conscious of my self. I know that I exist. This consciousness is 'I am'. Then what am I? In material consciousness one is conscious of one's physical body in relationship to the interaction with the material environment..

Normal and Abnormal consciousness : 

Normal and Abnormal consciousness Normal consciousness. A state in which the ego is able to direct the activities of the person.   Abnormal consciousness. The ego is unable to direct the activities of the person because the contents of consciousness are charged with negative energies which the ego is unable to counter. Ex.,, obsessive-compulsive behaviors addictions personality disorders. I am the creator I am the enjoyer.

Unconsciousness : : 

Unconsciousness : A state in which the human subject perceives and knows (perhaps), but without creating memories which can be accessed by the Ego. coma intoxicating states deep sleep

Altered states of consciousness ! : 

Altered states of consciousness ! States in which there is limited Ego-control, but which are not necessarily abnormal or pathological. Memory access is limited.
