Established in 1997, it is a non-for-profit 503 (c) (3) institution which is registered in the State of Florida. It is headquartered in Orlando and is one of the North America's organizations that has six affiliated clinical and research sites Slide 3: In the State of Florida and offers comprehensive healthcare for women which range from State-approved counseling and testing for HIV/AIDS, STD's, Diagnosis and Treatment of breast, uterine and cervical cancers, Pap smears, routine gynecological services, family planning, birth control etc. Slide 4: Its greatest institute is in its productive and mutually beneficial partnerships with several organizations/institutions with an objective to keep a comparable mission and vision. The Institute of Women's Health of North America has been aiming to improve women's health through outstanding clinical care, cutting-edge translational and clinical research, education and community outreach. Slide 5: It has Board-Certified physicians, researchers, nurse practitioners and many allied health staff that has been supporting its vision and mission in its offices in Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Ocala and Orlando. Dr. Adbul S. Rao, MA, MD, DPhil serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Institute as of April 01, 2009. Slide 6: With over two decades of experience and expertise in healthcare in both public and private universities in the United States, Dr. Abdul Rao is an exceptional personality. He has served at USF Health and Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Studies for the College of Medicine as the Senior Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. Slide 7: Dr. Abdul Rao also assisted in seamlessly bridging research across USF and USF Health campuses. His extensive experience and research in the USF helped him to take the institution (Women's Health of North America) to such great heights. He also contributed extensive amount to the success of the institute.
