Gather together a variety of your ISoc’s stakeholders for a meeting. Introduce them to the SWOT analysis method. Spend some time, either individually, as small groups, or collectively, listing as many of strengths, weaknessess, opportunities and threats as you can. How to use SWOT? : How to use SWOT? Examine the list, and make it more succinct. Using this list, develop strategies to maximise your strengths, reduce your weaknesses, employ your opportunities and reduce the threats. Renew this activity often, and keep it on record for reference. Final Remarks : Final Remarks SWOT is a powerful tool. It keeps your organisation grounded and in touch with reality. It will help inform your Vision, Aims and Objectives. Doing SWOT analysis twice a year (at the beginning of each term) is ideal.
