Main Idea of Chapter:

Main Idea of Chapter The 1980’s Economic failure convinced Americans to elect President George Bush in 1988. Bush’s ideas handled conflicts in China, Panama, and the Persian Gulf. President Bush broke his promises on raising taxes and it led to Americans electing Bill Clinton in 1992.

George Bush 1980’s:

George Bush 1980’s Born: (1924) 41 st President of the United States(1989-93)

Persian Gulf War:

Persian Gulf War One of George Bush’s struggles in keeping his promise, “No New Taxes”.
