April 7, 2011 Dear Ellie, You are 1 today! It has been quite a year.  An amazing journey with so much more joy than we could have ever hoped for! Ellie, you were 7 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches of absolute perfection.  We were scared of so many things before your arrival, but you came out kicking and screaming, healthy and pink. We all cried huge tears of joy.  You were a tiny little spitfire who came into this world ready to take it on. You’re our little miracle. We loved you before we met you.
