What is 4GWhere we are..: 1G- circut swithcing, analog signal & voice only 2G- Circuit-switched, digital signals, voice or data overlay, 9 kbps or 19 kbps 2.5G- enhanced version of 2G.GPRS,It support 100kbps data rate. 3G- paket-switched, Transparent roaming, multimedia.2Mbps, . Where we are..Network Evolution: 4 Network Evolution 1G FDMA Frequency Division Multiple Access 1980s – each calling party is allocated a dedicated frequency channel: 3 users use three channels 2G TDMA & GSM Time Division Multiple Access & Groupe Speciale Mobile 1990s – callers timeshare a frequency channel: nine users use 3 channels 3G CDMA & WCDMA Code Division Multiple Access & Wide CDMA 1990s – callers use a shorter bandwidth 2000s – Each call is spread, randomly broken down and mixed: ten callers use one channel.Problem with the current system(3G) :: High-speed wireless is not already available Data transfer tends to come in bursts rather than in the constant stream of voice data. The current cellular network does not have the available bandwidth Not only is data transfer slow — at the speed of analog modems — but the bandwidth that is available is not allocated efficiently for data. Problem with the current system(3G) :3G wireless system: 3G wireless system Large Coverage Outdoor - High Mobility Up to 14Mbps4G wireless: 4G wireless Large Coverage – 100Mbps Coverage Outdoor - High Mobility Macro Cells Pico Cells Isolated HotSpots – 1Gbps Coverage Indoor – Very Low MobilityFeatures: support for multimedia sevices like teliconferencing & wireless internet Wider bandwidth and higher bit rate Entirely paket switching netwrok High internet speed Tight networking securit y FeaturesTechnology used in 4G: OFDM UWB(Ultra Wide Band Networks) Smart antennas IPv6 Technology used in 4GOFDM(orthagonal freqncy division multiplexing): It transmits large amonut of data. OFDM works by spliting the radio signals into multiple smaller sub-signal that are then transmitted simulteneously at different frequencies to the receiver OFDM(orthagonal freqncy division multiplexing) UWB(Ultra wide band) : An advance technology that can be used in 4G technology It uses less power since it transmites pulse instead of continuous signal UWB(Ultra wide band)Smart antennas: smart antennas can be employed to find tune and turn up signal information smart antennas can send signal back in same direction Smart antennasMIMO Radio Channel Measurements: MIMO Radio Channel Measurements MIMO (BLAST & space-time coding) techniques increase bit rate and/or quality on a link by creating multiple channels and/or enhancing diversity Switched/steered beam antennas for base stations and interference suppression/adaptiveIPv6: Internet prototcol is the method or protocol which data is sent from one to another on the internet. Each computer uniqly identifies the computer It includes 128bits,which is 4 times more than 32 bits IP address in IPV4. IPv6QOS(quality of service): In wireless network QOS refers to the performance for a system reflecting its transmission quality & service availability. 4G is expected to have a reliability of99.99% QOS(quality of service)Applications: In traffic control Location application Telemedicine In crisis of management application ApplicationsConclusion: Consumers demand that software and hardware be user-friendly and perform well ALL totally the best way to help all parties is to use 4G as the next wireless system.and in totally it is safety&secure for public.this the need that demands the solution.today”s wired society is going wireless& it has problem,4G is answer.
