The job of a manager in the workplace is to get things done through employees. The company was founded in Mumbai in 1938 by two Danish engineers, Henning Holck -Larsen and Soren Kristian Toubro . L&T became a private limited company in 1946. It then became a public limited company in 1950.SCOPE: SCOPE Developing Direct behavior toward particular goals Lead to increased effort and energy Enhance cognitive processing Determine what consequences are reinforcing Lead to improved performanceOBJECTIVE: OBJECTIVE The objective of the study is to analyze the Employee Motivation in Larsen and Toubro. To provide a clear idea about employee motivation in L&T in various sectors. To analyze about various strategy used by L&T in Motivating the Employees. To know how Motivation influenced in L&T.LIMITATION: LIMITATION Time constraint- As the time was less, the secondary data could be collected for the study. As the time consent we took the one division of the L&T- Chennai division.IMPORTANCE : IMPORTANCE It helps proper utilization human resources It builts human relations in organisation It increases productivity of organisationTHEORTICAL CONCEPTS: THEORTICAL CONCEPTS Nature of motivation Motivation means influence the people to do work . Motivation come from Latin root ‘ movere ’ , which mean to move. Motivation is internal to as and externalized via behavior.
