outlook:

outlook Microsoft Outlook is the email client that allows you to manage your mailbox. Although Outlook 2010 is the latest version, we primarily use Outlook 2007 which will get upgraded as PCs are replaced. Outlook is not required to access your email. You can use Internet Explorer to access your email internally at Or you can access you email outside the network at Known as Outlook Web Access, this is helpful if you are at another users workstation or at home.

exchange:

exchange Microsoft Exchange is the server product that works with Outlook to provide email to the client. It also has an interface to synchronize email with mobile devices . This year we upgraded the server software from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. We also upgraded the server and storage hardware. Exchange Server Mailbox Store

blackberry:

blackberry In addition to the Exchange server, we also host a Blackberry Enterprise Server. The Blackberry server communicates with the Exchange server to provide email to Blackberry mobile devices. Exchange will also interface with other smart phones such as the iPhone , Droid, EVO, etc.

The future:

The future A new powerful server was installed in 2010 to host our email run on Exchange Server 2010. The old Exchange servers will be decommissioned by the end of 2010. Outlook Web Access will have a facelift and more functionality in the Fall of 2010. OWA will replace Outlook? PST files will be accessible through OWA. Mailbox size limits will be enforced.
