Key to the definition of cloud computing is “cloud” itself. Here cloud is a large group of interconnected computers. Cloud is simply a metaphor for the Internet. Cloud computing is using the Internet to access someone else’s software running on someone else’s hardware in someone else’s data centre while paying only for what you use. :

Community Cloud::

Community Cloud: Organizations having similar requirement. Privacy, security and/or policy compliance Ex: Google’s “Gov Cloud”

Hybrid Cloud::

Hybrid Cloud: Multiple internal and external providers Composition of more clouds Application: - Archiving of backup functions. - Deploying a web application in the cloud.
