VERSION 1 – JOAN BAEZ This is the original version of this song. It is composed as well as performed by Joan Baez, first released in 1975. It is written to remember her love relationship with Bob Dylan, an American singer.

VERSION 1 – JOAN BAEZ In the song, she recall all the memories and used diamond and rust to symbolize the joy and sorrow that time and love brought. This version use a simple music accompaniment with simply a single guitar. Joan Baez sang softly with expression deeply from her heart. Her voice creates a slight miserable feeling, which suits the lyrics a lot.

VERSION 3 – QI YU ( 齊豫 ) This is a special version which is performed by a Chinese singer, Qi Yu ( 齊豫 ). She express the song in a high pitch long notes, to bring the feeling of sadness. Other than guitar, Asian elements are added into the arrangement of the song, by adding Chinese instruments.
