Shera The Mascot of CWG 2010 :
Shera means ‘tiger’ in Hindi . The national animal of India is also tiger this is just a minor reason why Shera is the mascot. The most important is the decling number of the tiger due to the increasing value of its skin and nails. Hence it was named the mascot.

Lawn Ball :
6 Lawn Ball Bowls is a sport in which the objective is to roll slightly asymmetric balls, called bowls, so that they stop close to a smaller—normally white—bowl called the "jack" or "kitty". Bowls, either flat- or crown-green, is usually played outdoors, on grass and synthetic surfaces. Flat-green bowls can also be played indoors on synthetic surfaces. Both variants are collectively known as "lawn bowls".
The specialty of the lawn balls is it is not played in Olympic or Asian games but only in The Commonwealth games.
