Assignments Meet & Greet - Building a “Learning Community” - In Discussion Board Tab Reflection Journal (1 for 3 points) This entry will reflect your personal philosophies about education - In the Assignments Tab for Week 2 Study Guides (37 questions for 1 points each) Weekly questions from the readings – In the Assignments Tab by week they are due Discussion Questions (14 for 3 points each) Simulate classroom discussions with your classmates - In the Discussion Board Tab Article Analysis (3 for 4 points each) - Read timely articles that are relevant to the chapters and make the connection between textbook theory and real world – In the Assignments Tab by the week they are due Current Issues PowerPoint (1 for 6 points) Create a PowerPoint to summarize current issues topic – In the Assignments Tab for Week 16 3

Assignments and Due Dates Please click on the syllabus tab. In addition to the syllabus, you will find the assignment and due date overview. This will be a very important guide for you! Print it and place it in the front of your EDU 221. You can check off each assignment as you complete it! 4

Important Notes : 

Important Notes At least 25 hours of observation are required for this class. You will need to start these observations as soon as possible, as we will begin discussing your observations in Discussion Board #6. Please see guidelines under Observation Requirement in the syllabus. Information on obtaining a Fingerprint Card is in External Links Tab. Request forms and Observation logs are in Course Documents Tab. Prompt feedback will be provided per assignment by instructor. Late work (no later than one week) may be accepted for limited credit. If for some reason you are unable to complete your assignments on time please notify me in advance. If I do not hear from you (e-mail, telephone) I will assume that you have no valid excuse for the late submittal. This is your responsibility. 5
