Comments from teachers :

Comments from teachers Learnt a lot that I can take back into class, lots to think about and implement. Good ideas for things to do i.e. games and how to approach aspects of problems. Fantastic! Lots of practical ideas that would engage the children. Great help in navigating around the numeracy framework. Inspiring. Thanks. An excellent day. I now feel re-motivated and energised about Numeracy teaching (not an easy thing to do on a Friday!) I’m going into school on Monday with a long to do list and can see this will really improve my T + L and hopefully the school.

Year 2/3 training :

Year 2/3 training

Year 2/3 training :

Year 2/3 training Schools will be sent a letter inviting them to Day 2 of training The letter gives a specific date. Please ignore if you do not intend to access the training. Please try to attend on the date given. There will be slight differences to the Day 2 content that will extend the particular Day 1 session you attended. Schools who have not attended any Day 1 training can join the programme at Day 2 but should attend the 17th October session. A small number of schools have been moved to a second day that links with their partner school.

The Williams review of mathematics Teaching in Early Years Settings and Primary Schools. :

The Williams review of mathematics Teaching in Early Years Settings and Primary Schools. Forthcoming review of EYFS considers inclusion of time and capacity within ELG. Increase numbers of graduate practitioners in early years settings. Increase engagement of children and families with intervention programmes (will affect development of ECC materials). ECC should be built upon a number of given characteristics.
