Band Camp : 

Band Camp 4:45am-7:15am 10:00am-12:00 3:00pm-5:00pm 7:00pm- until Band camp is where you meet your section leaders and learn the basics of Lincoln University MMS

The Ties : 

The Ties These are freshmen or new people to the band also known as “crabs” they are the bottom of the food chain and have rules that they must follow like not walking in the grass or always having to wear a tie. Through out the year ties have to prove they are ready to be part of “LUBT” and when they do that they get to remove their ties.

Rookies : 

Rookies These are people who have been in the band for two years they don’t have the rules that ties have and they also have more power than ties do

Old Heads : 

Old Heads Old Heads have more push than any other person besides the drum major they have been in the band for three or more years they know a lot of music and are really good at one if not more instruments.

Drum Majors : 

Drum Majors Drum Majors direct the band, select the music we play, perform with the band (dancing), set rules for the ties. This position is auditioned for and only three are selected.

Band Battles : 

Band Battles This year Lincoln battled two bands Prairie View and Langston Battle of the bands are were after the football game two bands stay after and play music back and fourth and the first band to leave loses.
