The other 40% are classified as introverts People defined as extrovert learners by Jung’s Theory of Personality, display different processes of learning then introverts based on personality traits and the function of the brain. Around 60% of people are classified as extroverts due to personality traits that effect how they learn, how they perceive themselves, as well as how they interact with others.

What’s the difference? :

What’s the difference? Extrovert! Introvert! Some personality traits of an Extrovert learner also include being outgoing, sociable, gregarious, genial, affable, friendly and unreserved. Introverts are shy, reserved, withdrawn, reticent, diffident, retiring, and/or quiet. Introverts can still be sociable, but they would rather do things on their own.

Which one are you? Introversion is the polar opposite of extraversion in many ways, yet they have some similarities Many people say they can fall into both categories but tend to lean to one side or the other for the most part So there are many differing types of extraverts and introverts with similarities and differences.

Extroverts and Learning :

Extroverts and Learning Extrovert learners learn best through direct experiences. Extroverts also enjoy working in groups and are willing to lead, participate, and offer their opinions without guidance from others. A lot of extrovert learner’s ideas come from outside sources and their environments.

Introverts and Learning :

Introverts and Learning Introverts generate most of their work from internal sources, and prefer to listen, watch and reflect others before attempting a new skill Introverted learners are still sociable, but they would rather be by themselves and solve problems alone.

An Extrovert Brain :

An Extrovert Brain Extroverts and extravert learners show the characteristics they do because of their brain processes. PET scans of Extroverts exhibit more activity in the anterior cingulategyrus, temporal lobes and posterior thalamus. These areas are typically thought to involve in the moment or recent external stimulated sensory processing like hearing, watching or driving.

An Introvert Brain :

An Introvert Brain Introverts showed more activity in the brain frontal lobe; this is the area activated for remembering, problem solving and planning.
