NOTE: WHEN THE 2300 DAYS PROPHECY COMES TO AN END, THERE ARE NO REMAINING TIME PROPHECIES. 1844 WAS THE LAST ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. THEREFORE, THAT’S WHY, DATES SUCH AS 1260, 1290, AND 1335, CANNOT APPLY TO FUTURE TIME PROPHECIES. Slide 37: Three Time Prophecies. These are the prophecies that are confusing. "Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished." "... from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty five days. " (Daniel 12: 7, 11, 12) 1260 days. This is a period of persecution ("time, times and half a time"). 1290 days. This marks a period of supremacy when the abomination of desolation removes the continual. 1335 days. This appears to be an extension of the 1290 year period. At the end, the people of God are rewarded. These time periods are based on Daniel 11: 31 which is a list of events. The order is given in Daniel 12 as an enlargement of this verse. THE OTHER—TO SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT GREAT CONTROVERSY, pp. 637, 640 : GREAT CONTROVERSY, pp. 637, 640 THE SPECIAL RESURRECTION Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth” “awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” [Daniel 12:2.] All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept his law. “They also which pierced Him,” [Revelation 1:7.] those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of his truth and his people, are raised to behold him in his glory, and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient…. Like peals of loudest thunder, his words roll through the earth. The Israel of God stand listening, with their eyes fixed upward. TWO REASONS: WITH REGARD TO THE SPECIAL EVENTS THAT WILL UNFOLD—THOSE WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH THE GREAT TRIBULATION AND DIED UNDER THE PREACHING OF THE THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE—GOD WILL ALLOW THEM TO SEE HIM (JESUS) RETURNING IN THE CLOUDS… THE WICKED BELIEVED THEY WERE RIGHT AND GOD’S PEOPLE WERE WRONG. HENCE, GOD WILL MAKE THOSE OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN (UNRIGHTEOUS RELIGIOUS WORLD—REVELATION 3:9) COME AND FALL DOWN AT HIS FEET AND WORSHIP HIM. IS ELLEN G. NOTE: WHEN THE 2300 DAYS PROPHECY COMES TO AN END, THERE ARE NO REMAINING TIME PROPHECIES. 1844 WAS THE LAST ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. THEREFORE, THAT’S WHY, DATES SUCH AS 1260, 1290, AND 1335, CANNOT APPLY TO FUTURE TIME PROPHECIES. Slide 37: Three Time Prophecies. These are the prophecies that are confusing. "Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished." "... from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty five days. " (Daniel 12: 7, 11, 12) 1260 days. This is a period of persecution ("time, times and half a time"). 1290 days. This marks a period of supremacy when the abomination of desolation removes the continual. 1335 days. This appears to be an extension of the 1290 year period. At the end, the people of God are rewarded. These time periods are based on Daniel 11: 31 which is a list of events. The order is given in Daniel 12 as an enlargement of this verse. THE OTHER—TO SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT GREAT CONTROVERSY, pp. 637, 640 : GREAT CONTROVERSY, pp. 637, 640 THE SPECIAL RESURRECTION Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth” “awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” [Daniel 12:2.] All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept his law. “They also which pierced Him,” [Revelation 1:7.] those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of his truth and his people, are raised to behold him in his glory, and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient…. HENCE, GOD WILL MAKE THOSE OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN (UNRIGHTEOUS RELIGIOUS WORLD—REVELATION 3:9) COME AND FALL DOWN AT HIS FEET AND WORSHIP HIM. IS ELLEN G.
