What is Remanufactured? :
What is Remanufactured? “Remanufactured” means “to refurbish (a used product) by renovating and reassembling its components.”
Remanufactured cartridges are perfectly matched to work in your printers – they are created using old cartridges as a base.
Tests prove remanufactured cartridges are more reliable than refilled cartridges.
How is the cartridge made? :
How is the cartridge made? The remanufactured cartridge begins its life as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridge.
When it is empty, the end user returns the cartridge to a recycler.
Companies procure the empty cartridge and either remanufacture it or refill it. (There is a difference between these processes and companies.)
Remanufacture vs. Refill :
Remanufacture vs. Refill Remanufacturers: • Open up the cartridge to check for defects.
• The cartridge is cleaned out, with internal
parts replaced and filled with toner or ink.
• If any electronics are in need of
replacement, they are replaced.
• The cartridge is then resealed.
Remanufacture vs. Refill :
Remanufacture vs. Refill Refillers: (Also called Rechargers) • Use a syringe or other refilling device to refill the
cartridge.
– This does not check the internal workings of the
cartridge for defects or allow for replacement of
parts inside the cartridge.
– Defective cartridges are not detected.
