He has done his MSc in chemistry from IIT,Karakpur. He was the manager of a pharmaceutical firm. Joined RJ college as a lecturer. Was one of the TRUSTEES of RJ college. Slide 4: He was also a member of the Hindi vidhya prachar samiti of RJ College. He has contributed his precious 11years in the teaching field as teaching was his passion. Initiator of establishing BMS Dep in RJ college. Was ADVISOR Management studies of RJ College. Slide 5: He was an active Rotarian. He started the Rotaract Club of BMS Dep, RJ College. He has written a book “Entrepreneurship” in coordination with Dr.PNSingh. Delivered lectures on entrepreneurship in institutions like VJTI, Welingkar and many others. Slide 6: He was a life time member of BMA & AIMA. He was pursuing PhD at the age of 67. Which shows that he was a constant learner. On 1st November 2009, he ended his inspiring journey on this earth. Saboo Sir As A Person: : Saboo Sir As A Person: He was a disciplinarian. The urge to learn something new was always within him. A great observer, thinker & analyzer. A spiritual person. A very good planner. Young at heart even at the age of 67. Slide 8: He was very much like a Coconut. As a professor he has proved to be the best . He always had “For the students attitude.” He has done many great things which makes him Unique. Enthusiastic for every good work. As A Manager: : As A Manager: He very artfully used to get the work done. His art of Delegating the work was great. Authentic & truthful by nature. Bringing about PRODUCTIVITY, EFFECTIVENESS & EFFICIENCY from the decision taken was his prime aim. Managerial Roles Played By Him: : Managerial Roles Played By Him: Interpersonal roles Figurehead role Leader role Liaison role Informational roles Recipient role Disseminator role Spokesperson role Decision roles Entrepreneurial role Disturbance handler role Negotiator role. As A Planner: : As A Planner: He used to make all the necessary plans well before in advance. He used to maintain a Diary. In which he used to record all the expected meetings in Pencil & once they were confirmed he used to write it with Pen. As A Leader: : As A Leader: He was much of a DEMOCRATIC or PARTICIPATIVE leader. He had the power of positive thinking. Practical approach towards action. The strength of visionary. Success by turning all work into worship. As A Motivator & Evaluator: : As A Motivator & Evaluator: As a motivator he used to follow “The carrot and the stick approach”. He used to evaluate the performance of the Teachers as well as the Students. And rewarded the best performance while motivated others to give their best. As A Communicator : As A Communicator He use to communicate both verbally as well as nonverbally (through notices). He was an effective communicator. He always used to follow the method of feedback. As A Decision Maker: : As A Decision Maker: He always use to take suggestions before taking any decision. Searching for all the possible alternatives. Selecting the best suitable amongst them according to its utility. And implementing the same was his methodology for taking decisions. His Thoughts: : His Thoughts: He was a great thinker. Development of students was all on his mind every time. His thoughts were clear and for the goodness of Mankind. Many people are truly inspired by his thoughts. He Is A Management Guru Coz: : He Is A Management Guru Coz: He possessed all the required qualities. He was an early riser. He was very self-controlled. His aim was to give back to the society. He was a true visionary. He had planned to establish a Management Institute of his own. Conclusion: : Conclusion: For me saboo sir was, is & always will be the best Management Guru I have ever seen and came across in my life. I just wish that his soul rest in peace & harmony.
