Today, we are coming close to a fading religion and society in Western culture. The only thing that holds us together is our knowledge of the importance of God and society. Please ask yourself, for how long are we going to hold ourselves in unity like we do today? The answer is very simple: Till the time we acknowledge that Religion and society exist for our well being. It is very obvious that the primary problem the future will hold is ignorance, in other words – “lack of knowledge”. This is the right time to get that knowledge. Why a syllabus and examination? : Why a syllabus and examination? Please note that this is not a formal examination. The primary aim of this examination is to challenge ourselves to evolve the hidden faith inside us. The syllabus in only a guide for us to focus on. It highlights essential knowledge points that we need to master. All the results will be treated with confidentiality. Only the examiner and the candidate himself/herself will know of the outcome. However , the top 3 in each age group will be announced and that to with candidate’s consent. Age Based Examination Levels : Age Based Examination Levels Kids Oral Exam (Age 11 &Below) Level 1(Age 11-14) Level 2(Age 15-18) Level 3(Age 19-27) Level 4(Age 28 & above) Slide 5: We need to paste whole syllabus table here if we can please check Manoj Kids Oral Exam (Age 11 &Below) : Kids Oral Exam (Age 11 &Below) This age group will be examined orally on subject matter that will be read to them on the day of examination. However some content will be handed to them today on which they can have some practice at home. Level 4 (Age 28 & above) : Level 4 (Age 28 & above) Contents to be examined on this level are inclusive of the entire syllabus for all different age groups. Therefore lets have a quick overview of what we have on offer for this level. Vachnamrut Gadhda Pratham Prakan(1-12) (5) : Vachnamrut Gadhda Pratham Prakan(1-12) (5) The importance of Vachanmrut in our daily life is hard to describe. Most of us don’t give it a thought, some say it’s hard, other say it is boring and some just don’t bother. Vachanmrut is like any sport, it takes a few moments to understand it (the earlier the better). Paramhansa Akhyan: : Paramhansa Akhyan: The candidate will be required to write a brief biography of the Paramhansa stated on the question paper. It is required that you remember biographies for all 6 Paramhansa listed. Dadakhachar Muktanand Swami Bhramanand Swami Nishkulanand Swami Premanand Swami Gopalanand Swami Kirtans(5) : Kirtans(5) It is recommended that the candidate learns the following kirtans by heart. In essence, this sections tests your understanding and previous knowledge of Hinduism as a whole. Please note: no contents for this section will be provided in the preparation material. Charnavind : Charnavind This section dwells on the importance of the Chins on Shreeji Maharaj’s lotus feet. All 16 chins and the fruits of chin dhyan are expected to be visualised, read and understood. Example: Pooja Vidhi : Pooja Vidhi Pooja vidhi includes routine everyday pooja and the knowledge of all 5 mansi poojas. It is advisable that we all practice this full pooja vidhi as explained in the contents. Examination sample: Lets enjoy the fun mates : Lets enjoy the fun mates This examination is nothing about brain power nor by force. Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan himself said that lack of knowledge leads to loss of virtues (good character) and dominance of vices (evil behaviour). Please do this examination to give yourself some vision of Swaminarayan sampraday (the very mother that keeps you standing today) Now to the wise man : Now to the wise man We will have ……..to come forward and brief us on our proposed route.
