Slide 13: Rules – Placing Letters Every round, each team will have a 4 minute slot to place letters. Thus, every round (except for round 1) will have 4X4= 16 minutes. Even though teams are allowed to place letters only for 4 out of 16 minutes, they can collect letters during the entire round. Slide 14: Rules – Placing Letters During their assigned time slot, teams must send a representative to input letters on the master board before their turn ends. Those that fail to do so forfeit their turn. Teams that only partially affix their words to the master board will forfeit their turn. Letters will be removed from the board and returned. Slide 15: Rules - Setup Before the game begins, teams elect one candidate to come to the front. Each candidate representative will name as many people as possible from his or her team. Candidates who name the most people can decide the order of play. Slide 16: Rules - Setup Teams will begin the game with staggered starts. Team 1 will receive the activity packet first, and have four minutes to strategize and collect letters. After the first 4 minutes, team 2 will receive their packet, and team 1 will be able to place letters for 4 minutes. Slide 17: Rules – Setup Round 1 Slide 18: Rules – Setup Rounds 2 - 7 Slide 19: Rules – Endgame Play ends after 7 rounds, or when time is called. Fair warning before the last turn will be given. Winners will have the satisfaction of winning. You do not have the permission to view this presentation. In order to view it, please contact the author of the presentation.
