Introduction Collaboration knows no Barriers : Collaboration knows no Barriers Collaboration in learning has removed the barriers and enables learners a different way of participating in distance education by networking individuals not only around the country but around the world. Decision making is seen here, conflicts can surface. Norming -the group has begun to be effective. Cohesion occurs, trust begins to develop and differences are known and valued. Feedback is constructive. Performing- Focus is on creativity and problem solving. Groups potential is seen through collaborative enthusiasm. Pedagogies : Having a set of holistic strategies in collaborative learning in order to foster an environment that produces thriving learners. This includes motivating individual learners by drawing out strengths, constructing new knowledge by scaffolding, bridging past experiences with new learning. Pedagogies Benefits of Collaboration : Co-construction of knowledge building and creating. Enhances intrapersonal and communication skills. Supports inquiry learning.
