It is used in system analysis and designing Slide 3: 7/23/2010 3 At a time of any transactions you direct your attention to the external environment and look at the system as black box. One who will actually use system, can readily describe system needs in terms of event that affect their work. So the external focus on events is appropriate when working with users. FINALY, focusing on events will give you a way to divide(decompose) the system requirement so you can study separately.
