Integrity – honesty (truthful& hiding nothing) It’s the inner compass, its what you do in secret It is also doing what you say Psa 25:21 – Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for and expect you.- Integrity preserves;- There is a waiting needed;- You need to wait expectantly; Psa 41:12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face forever. - Integrity Upholds; - Integrity attracts the Presence of God

Amp – He who walks uprightly walks securely, but he who takes crooked way shall be found out and punished Pro 28:18 - Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. Amp – he who walks uprightly shall be safe, but he who willfully goes in double and wrong ways shall fall in one of them NIV – he whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall - you cant hide your perversity - KJV; - there is a punishment attached to perversity Amp - there is salvation& safety in uprightness; - you will fall in one of the many perverse ways you walk in - perversity doesn’t have many chances (at once KJv – sudden fall NIV) Confession& forgiveness are necessary for deliverance Psa 25:18-20

Purity Dict: Moral goodness or the state of not having sex e.g. Mary for christians Morality – standards of good or bad behavior, fairness& honesty Nobody is immune to sexual temptation. It is a serious problem and deserves serious attention. Calling for purity is not to condemn where there is failure, but to commend the blessings that comes with it and the searing pain it avoids. Sear – to burn the surface of something with sudden very strong heat. Applied to memories – never able to forget.

Virginity – is a state of never having had intercourse. Celibacy – is abstinence from sexual activity until marriage Some Words on Purity Purity is not some light thing to be blown away, its substantial as a rock; protect& embrace it, and it will guard you like a tank. Purity is a s vital to our emotional wellbeing as good as hygiene is to our physical health. It is a precious, priceless gift to yourself, those you love, and to God who gives you life& salvation. Purity protects the possibility of priceless memories: first time memories are part of you for the rest of your life. God wants to make those memories priceless. Purity is both the pathway to joy and the image of Christ in our lives. The wedding gown& the marriage bed deserve to be done right. God calls us to purity the very reason that we teach our children to wash their hands before meal and brush their teeth afterwards. (Mat 5:8) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Purity attracts blessing from God

Quotes about Sexual Purity “The sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife” (“The Family: A Proclamation to the World”). The Christian Church must renew its dedication to uphold God's high standards of purity. And God's standard for sexual purity is chastity before marriage and loyalty after marriage. Wearing adulthood before you have grown into it can lead to dreams unfulfilled and potential joys never realized.

Moral purity is part of wholeness Rom 12:1-2; The incentive of honour – purity is a matter of honour: the community will honour you, honour your spouse. Sexual desire is good but was meant to be regulated& guided by two concerns: honour towards the other person&; holiness towards God. If your sexual desire is not guided by respect for the honour of others and regard for the holiness of God, it s lust. Why do you steal something good when you can legally have it? 2Tim 2:20-21 – vessels of honour: useful to the Master; ready to do any good work To escape the judgement of God vs6b. 1Cor 6:9-10 Immorality is characteristic of those headed for hell Jude 7 - ESV - Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Consequences of Impurity Introduction Believers& unbelievers alike cannot escape the pain results of sinful choices – this is the law of inevitable consequences. If you choose sin, there will be evil results, we can be forgiven but that doesn’t necessarily change the evil results. God tries to teach us His ways, if we refuse to hear His Word, ugly& terrible would happen. In the case of Israeli, disobedience attracted the discipline in the form of: famine, war, disease. There was also break up of families Deut 28:32. God’s standards can’t be violated, He has ways of bringing to pass His judgements and no-one can evade it.

Consequences Spiritual + Sexual Impurity grieves God’s Spirit. Any sin we practice will grieve Him Eph4:31. It put out the the fire of the Holy Spirit 1Thes 5:19 – the more we quench God’s Spirit, the less we will be inclined to live a changed life in righteousness. 1Thes 4:8b – 1Cor 6:19…your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit + It defiles& destroys the oneness with the Lord 1Cor 6:15-17; + Desecrates the God’s dwelling vs19

Consequences to Family Untold hurt to spouse, children, parent; Loss of trust Loss of example& credibility – Immorality nullify your influence on family who needs to build on their relationship with Christ; Because of present failure, future generations of your family will have difficulty in this area; Shame to family; Self Shame& life-long embarrassment; Discrediting your name; Loss of self-respect; Terrible feelings of guilt are hard to shake; even though God would forgive me, can I forgive myself; Plaguing memories& flashbacks that could taint future intimacy with your spouse; Ability to know right& wrong is affected even in other moral areas because the conscience is defiled.

Consequences on Friends& Ministry Shame& hurt to friends, especially those you taught about Christ and discipled to maturity; Shame to church family; Shame to workmates; Irretrievable loss of years of witnessing to the unsaved friends& family; The possibility of keeping some from accepting Christ& being lost eternally Pain to innocent people around you who would get hit by your bomb (the sin of Achan& David)

Other Consequences Bring great pleasure to satan, the enemy of God – laughter, rejoicing& blasphemy by those who disrespect God& the church 2Sam 12:14. Heaping judgement& endless blame on your partner in crime Physical Pregnancy from adultery - Sex sin can produce unloved or unwanted children.  Sexual sin has helped devalue human life such that human babies are discarded as rubbish on an altar of convenience, pleasure and rebellion (40 million aborted since the 1960's).  Children born through sex sin may grow up in homes where a loving father and/or mother are absent.  Their brokenness will likely be echoed through the sexual choices they make down the road, impacting generations to come.

Physical Consequences – STDs Syphilis – transmit to children, which manifest at puberty even after 30years; Advanced stages of syphilis may show itself in the brain, central nervous system, cardiovascular system, skin – these disable, criples later in life 30years plus. Gonorrhea – causes impotence in men; Untreated gonorrhea spreads through the blood stream infecting the heart, brain, joints, bones, tendons, etc; It affects the baby’s eye sight; Painful irregular menstrual cycle (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) Scars the fallopian tube& blocks it; Genital herpes can cause miscarriage& still birth; Children born with a great risk of brain damage or dying; Cancer of the cervix Hiv/Aids – destroys the Immunosystem by attacking the white blood cells, bone marrow, spleen, liver, etc. It leads to death Infertility The female reproductive system is more vulnerable to contract STDs that the male.
