Storyline : 

Storyline Padrick and SpongeHop are good friends. One day, Padrick received a cheque of $50,000. In need of money, he altered the cheque from to $60,000 , signing against the alternation and forged the drawer’s signature. SpongeHop knew of the forgery right away as it was obvious. On account of their relationship, SpongeHop allowed Pardrick to encash. On the next shift, SquitWart saw the cheque and noticed the obvious forgery of the signature. He hesitated about whether to whistle blow this matter to Mr. Crap. After weighing the pros and cons, SquitWart decided to report to Mr. Craps

WHAT IS IT? Act of informing higher authorities about illegal or unethical practices observed. In large corporations, employees may report unethical practices to protect both themselves and the company.

WHISTLEBLOWER : 

WHISTLEBLOWER A person who raises a concern about wrongdoing occurring in an organization or body of people.

APPLICATION : 

APPLICATION When there is a: violation of a law, rule, regulation direct threat to public interest, fraud, health/safety violations, and corruption. Seek advice from reliable people To prevent making of false statement

EXAMPLE : 

EXAMPLE US executive Barron Stone alleged that Duke Energy group faked the company’s accounts from 1998 to 2001 to boost group’s reported earnings. Stone alerted his superiors in 1999 but was told that their decisions were final. In 2001, he alerted state regulators and Duke senior executives anonymously. Xerox Assistant Treasurer James Bingham who edited the accounts was being fired in after publicising creative accounting.
