Born in Seelyville on OCT 15, 1910; Named Wendell because he was born on feast of St. Wendelin ; Died in Seelyville on Feb 11, 1992 lived and worked in Detroit, Chicago, and San Francisco naval training at Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago and in San Diego Did NOT speak English until he started school Attended 1st Grade TWICE – in Uniontown and again in Seelyville TWO double promotions both from Mrs. Fisher (George Butwin’s house) Graduated from Glenn High School in May 1927 when he was 16 Contemporaries include: National Icons - Ronald Reagan and John Wooden, Slovak Family Friends - Mike Karabinos and Helen Novotney LaClave More Fun Facts about WJB things you may have wanted to know but did not get to ask!!!! : More Fun Facts about WJB things you may have wanted to know but did not get to ask!!!!
