First black pilots :
First black pilots Tuskegee Airmens were the first black pilots to fly combat sorties during WW II. They amassed over 1000 sorties and lost only one aircraft to enemy fire. Their outstanding combat flight record were instrumental in the military’s decision to segregate the armed forces.
