Creating an honest/constructive debate :

Creating an honest/constructive debate Targeted at any religion that follows the Old & New Testaments of the Bible. Meant to avoid personal attacks which destroy honest debate Meant to inspire open discussion of a topic that affects the majority of Americans.

Save myself some valuable time :

Save myself some valuable time Responding to other people’s videos on this topic only leads to personal attacks I cannot debate every fundamentalist one at a time, there are too many of you. I have too much of an ego to hold back my own personal attacks.

Providing an example to liberal Christians :

Providing an example to liberal Christians I am not a Christian Arguing with fundamentalists often leads to my position being disregarded because I’m an atheist Teaching a liberal Christian the finer points of this debate allows them to fight this battle for me and with better chances at success

Video version of Nordin’s Essay :

Video version of Nordin’s Essay So many people on both sides of the debate refuse to do any research involving reading. Those that do read may find Nordin’s essay verbose and lose interest. Nordin’s essay is too impressive to be ignored by the masses.

Why do I care? :

Why do I care? I’m an atheist! Oh God, no! Even without a book to give them to me, I have beliefs. Despite the Bible’s warnings, I have quite an ego

What I believe :

What I believe Inherent human rights including but not limited to: Right to life Right to freedom Equality of opportunity Responsibility of every moral person to fight for the rights of all people. Religion inhibits these inherent rights Homosexuals Women Other minority groups throughout history

Rational judgments :

Rational judgments An example of a rational set of judgment criteria might include: One’s capabilities One’s willingness to make use of their capabilities One’s moral obligations One’s capacity and willingness to impose upon another
