Advice Visits Asking for advice gets you in any door in town. “Can I pick your brain?” If you want money, ask for advice. If you want advice, ask for money. Easy way for board members to open the door to their contacts. Get them to do the talking! Use the elevator speech to get the appt.

Small Socials Board members host a social event for their friends & acquaintances. No solicitations. Each board member signs up to to host a small social. Can be a dinner, porch party, luncheon . . . Plan your follow-up or don’t do it!
