DISTINGUISHING FEATURES BETWEENMYOFASCIAL PAIN AND FIBROMYALGIA MYOFASCIAL PAIN 1:1 male \ female. Local or regional pain. Focal tenderness. Taut bands. Restricted range of movement. Examine for T.P.’s. Immediate response to injection of T.P. 20% also have fibromyalgia FIBROMYALGIA 4-9 female : male. Widespread, general pain. Widespread tenderness. Muscle feels soft \ doughy. Hypermobile. Examine for T.P.’s. Delayed or poor response to injection. 72% also have T.P.’s.

TREATMENT :
