Soviet human life was strictly regulated - kindergarten, school, studies, military service, work under appointment. The ability to choose any other path was minimal. All ate the same sausage named „Doctors‘ “ , drove the same cars, wore the same hairstyle, wore similar clothes. Somehow stand out was not acceptable. Going from home to home you could see the same furniture, same cloths and same home appliances and all those homes were in the same multi-stored buildings. It was the time of total unification.

In Soviet Lithuania the state tried to control everything and such things like music people were listening or the cloths people were wearing was under strict regulation. Each model claimed Arts Council.  Experienced professionals of standards of the Ministry of Light Industry of models houses (the head-Russian man) evaluated models. "Many steps resolved before the model was put through to production and significantly simplifies and already out of date. Less variety of committees – the result would be better: models sould- have been more interesting, wider ranger of people wearing clothes.“ – two young modellers of that time talk in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa8UHSyJNLQ&feature=related Kiekviena modeli tvirtino meno taryba. School children in every school had to wear uniforms and were obliged to buy it each year. There were no single school where kids were dressed in colourful nice cloths: everyone was wearing the one and only styled form in Lithuania at that time. Kiekvienos mokyklos mokiniai turejo nešioti uniformas, kurias buvo priver-sti pirkti kiekvienais metais. Nebuvo ne vienos mokyklos, kur vaikai devetu spalvingus drabužius – visi nešiojo vieno stiliaus uniformas visoje to me-to Lietuvoje.

All toy designs were certified with Communist Party of Soviet Union and they were lazy to certify a lot. So there wasn’t a big freedom of choice for kids at that time. CITY PEOPLE'S CLOTHING :

CITY PEOPLE'S CLOTHING MIESTO ŽMONIU APRANGA We have to admit that the style point of view, this period indeed has become almost a controversial  period of the twentieth century. In particular, he finally set the previous decades extinct  boundary between the elite designers' works and the mass of so-called street fashion. The present period really welcomed thousands of successful for women and men who reached careers. Their purpose was to serve and casual clothing styles. Any creativity has ruthlessly forced into the country - leading to leadership positions in practicality, comfort, understated elegance. However, it was important to show the clothes and their material wealth and social status. Bet koks kurybiškumas buvo negailestingai nustumtas i šali – i pirmaujancias pozicijas išsiverže praktiškumas, patogumas, santuri elegancija.

Slide 25:

A luxury as a way of life, which should aim at anyone - this is the strategy (of course, our days have already survived more than one wave of change) has become the foundation of modern luxury industry. Prabanga kaip gyvenimo budas, kurio turetu siekti kiekvienas vartotojas, – butent ši strategija (be abejo, musu dienomis jau išgyvenusi ne viena poky-ciu banga) tapo šiuolaikines prabangos industrijos pamatu.

STREET FASHION :

STREET FASHION A variety of fashion winds sing in Lithuanian city streets. Clothing and footwear designers say cities are increasingly noticing stylish people. Dressed in gaudy urban cohorts decline. Particularly adventurous and experimenting - young people. Their clothing are full of colour palette. Lietuvos miestu gatvese švilpia ivairus mados vejai. Drabužiu ir avalynes dizai-neriai sako miestuose vis dažniau pastebintys stilingu žmoniu. Neskoningai apsirengusiu miestieciu gretos tirpsta.Ypac drasus ir eksperimentuojantis – jaunimas. Jo aprangoje atsiveria visa spalvu palete. GATVES MADA

YOUTH CLOTHES :

YOUTH CLOTHES At the end of twentieth century the fashion world emerged phenomenon - street fashion. Today's street fashion did not just happen.  It bases the previous period have made a conscious and sometimes unconscious young people's desire to distinguish themselves from others. The youth style is as before - bizarre, loud, extremely eclectic, and after a few years with vulgarity label. XX a. pabaigoje mados pasaulyje susiformavo fenomenas – gatves mada. FUTURE from 2010 to indefinite time ATEITIS Nuo 2010 m. –iki neapibrežto laiko

What will world be in Future? What will be the LifeStyle?... :

What will world be in Future? What will be the LifeStyle?... Famous people say: Žymus žmones sako: The future is made of the same stuff as the present. These days people seek knowledge, not wisdom. Knowledge is of the past, wisdom is of the future. ( Vernon Cooper) Šiu dienu žmones siekia žiniu, ne išminties. Žinios iš praeities, išmintis ateity. When I look into the future, it's so bright it burns my eyes...  ( Oprah Winfrey) Kai aš žiuriu i ateiti, tai ji labai ryškiai šviecia man i akis...

Pupils write: Mokiniai rašo: Future of school, of course, will be as follows: the upper classes, each student will have a vehicle. Teachers will be uniformed. Classes will not be there, will be like In the ancient Rome. Socrates is speaking a whole crow of disciples, and they will make an abstract typing on computers. Breaks will be like a hypnotic sessions: play good music, students meditate.(Jokubas) Ateities mokykla, aišku, bus tokia: kiekvienas aukštesniuju klasiu mokinys tures transporto priemone. Mokytojai bus uniformuoti. Klasiu nebebus, bus kaip senoves Romoje. "Sokratas“ sakys kalba visai miniai mokiniu, o šie konspektuos kompiuteriais. Pertraukos bus tarsi hipnozes seansai: gros gera muzika, mokiniai medituos.  I imagine the school as follows: no windows, when some of us be tired from the lessons, we could jump out. It should be a live corner at school. Teachers could be dressed as a fairy-tale heroes. ( Deividas ) Aš isivaizduoju savo mokykla taip: be langu, kad kai pavargsim nuo pamoku, galetume iššokti. Turetu buti gyvasis kampelis. Mokytojai galetu buti apsirenge kaip pasaku herojai.
