Outdoor Carpentry and Construction Group 6 Splash Deluxe Pool Deck : Splash Deluxe Pool Deck PROJECT SCOPE STATEMENT PROJECT OBJECTIVE To construct a high-quality, splash deluxe pool deck within two days of city permit approval, not to exceed $10,000. DELIVERABLES A 24 foot diameter pool deck. Splash Deluxe Pool Deck : Splash Deluxe Pool Deck MILESTONES Permits approved - March 5 Ensure ground level for foundation - March 6 Assemble deck IAW preapproved plans - March 6 Assemble hand railing system IAW preapproved plan - March 7 Final inspection - March 7/8 Splash Deluxe Pool Deck : Splash Deluxe Pool Deck TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Deck must meet local building codes. All wood must be pre-treated by manufacturer. All lag bolts, lag screws, washers, and nuts must be galvanized. Structure must pass seismic stability codes. Splash Deluxe Pool Deck : Splash Deluxe Pool Deck LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS The deck will be built to the specifications and design of the original blueprints provided by the general contractor. Owner responsible for landscaping. Contractor reserves the right to contract out services. Contractor responsible for subcontracted work. Outdoor Carpentry and Construction offers their clients several options in creating a more enjoyable lifestyle in their own backyard. From decks to arbors to benches, T.A.B.S. will construct any type of outdoor designs that you may need. In our office, we have a catalog of hundreds of different designs to meet our client’s needs. We can also undertake custom orders that may be presented by clients. Slide 12: The process starts as soon as the client calls the contractor requesting their specific needs.. The contractor will set up an appointment to meet onsite to select the project desired, evaluate the conditions of the environment and express any concerns regarding the work that needs to be done Once the client and the contractor reach an agreement on the project, the construction appointment will be set up and the contractor will apply for any permits that will be required from the city. Slide 13: Approximately a week later, the client will be contacted by the contractor confirming the construction and reporting that the permits have been approved. Upon arrival on construction day, the crew- consisting of a lead contractor, journeyman carpenter and a carpenters apprentice- will begin work first thing by clearing and leveling the land that will be used for the project. Slide 14: After the construction is completed the general contractor and the homeowner will inspect the final product ensuring the structure meets the clients requests and is structurally sound. After these inspections, if the client is pleased with the project, then all work is officially completed for the job.
