Line 6 rapid Service Starting January 4, 2010 Culver City Bus new rapid 6 bus will provide service between Metro Green Line Station and UCLA.

The new, fully integrated line 6 rapid will incorporate the following state-of-the-art elements: : 

Newly designed lower-floor buses for speedy passengers loading and unloading . Signal Priority (SP) technology to keep green lights green longer for approaching buses Limited number of stops to reduce overall commuting time . New branding on buses and bus stops to maximize visibility and recognition One-way fare $1.00 The new, fully integrated line 6 rapid will incorporate the following state-of-the-art elements:

Hours of Operation : 

Hours of Operation Operates every 15 minutes on weekdays only between 5:50 a.m. to 9:57 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. to 7:35 p.m. First and Last Bus Departure Times Northbound - Leaving from Green Line Station 5:50 AM (first AM bus) 8:50 AM (last AM bus)   2:25 PM (first PM bus) 6:25 PM (last PM bus)

Operating Speed : 

As required by the California Basic Speed Law, Operators shall not drive any vehicle on the BRT Route at a speed that is greater than reasonable or prudent, having due regard for weather, visibility, traffic conditions, or the condition, width, or surface of the roadway. Operators shall under no circumstances exceed posted speed limits while operating on the rapid bus. Operating Speed
