Who cares right? :Who cares right? To be a citizen we have certain rights and privileges
We also have certain responsibilities to make a positive change!
Society is a form of extended family
We all contribute whether negatively or positively!
Slide 3:Many men and women have died for our country!
We ALL have the responsibility to make the world a better place
All policies are made by ELECTED officials
We should read the news and understand in what direction our country in going
What are the issues? :What are the issues? Healthcare, social security and education and major issues today
They may not impact you now but they will!
Be proactive!
Legislation is where it all begins!
We have had recent disasters such as Katrina
Federal funds are decided by legislation
Crime :Crime crime is at an all time high
Prisons are failing
Jobs are being outsourced to other countries
Rising educational costs for college
We need to stand together
The government represents the people but we need to be involved for that to happen!
Do your duty! :Do your duty! You can’t complain about a situation in which you did nothing to fix!
Express your right to vote!
