Kept under HOLD New Das Hospital proposal was initiated in 2007 Chosen Location in agreement with MDO is at Sahil south [Next to Ruler’s Building] All requirements for the new Das Hospital was obtained from PBU MTL BTC is endorsed by MDS. DSP [SELECT to DEFINE] is prepared and under HOLD. Project Team to carryout ‘DEFINE’ . 18 Conversion of AQ & BQ as Das Hospital & ADMA Main Office 03/10/2009 FEEDBACK FROM DAS SITE TEAMS ON PROPOSALS PRESENTATION WAS MADE TO DAS SITE TEAMS ON 18TH APR.08 AND FEED BACK RECEIVED ARE AS BELOW: 1) Consider the accommodation requirements for CNIA security personnel that may rise up in the future. 2) Consider utilizing the Sahil AQ building for accommodating CNIA, FIRE RESCUE & MEDICAL Personnel and construct new building for Das Hospital as per original plan. 3) Investigate the possibility of accommodating ‘UMM SHAIF EMPLOYEES’ at Das Island, as an alternative to setting up new Offshore Platform

CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS : 

19 Conversion of AQ & BQ as Das Hospital & ADMA Main Office 03/10/2009 CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS CONCLUSIONS Conversion of Sahil AQ & BQ building as Das Hospital and ADMA main office would be cost beneficial compared to construction of new buildings. Existing Main Office building and Das Hospital are structurally safe and can serve until alternative arrangements are made. RECOMMENDATIONS Continue maintaining the existing ADMA Main Office and Das Hospital buildings. Install H2S sensors & dampers at existing Das Hospital building and mitigate the risk. [To complete by 4Q 2008] Revisit and identify all repairs and refurbish the ADMA main office building  To Convert Sahil AQ & BQ as Hospital and Office, engage external consultant and obtain the following: SELECT: Various optional studies [based on limit of modifications Minimum to Maximum], Conceptual Layouts, implementation cost and schedule for each options. DEFINE: Detail design and tender package.
