Mecca(Makkah) is located in the western region of Saudi Arabia. A city where a number of holy places. Where is Mecca(Makkah)?

Slide 3: 

Makkah is the holiest city on earth to Muslims . Mecca is the most important city to Muslims . Five times each day, the world's one and half billion Muslims, wherever they may be, turn to the Holy City of Makkah to pray. And at least once in their lives, all Muslims who are not prevented by personal circumstance perform the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Makkah. Thus each year the Holy City of Makkah is host to some three million hajjis (pilgrims) from all over the world. why makkah is important to many people?

Makkah is the place where the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was born the place where God's message was first revealed to him and the city to which he returned after the migration to Medina in 622 AD. Why Makkah is important to many people?

Which places are important in Makkah ? 1-Holy mosque: Holy Mosque is the greatest mosque in Islam and is located in the heart of the city of Mecca in western Saudi Arabia, the Kaaba which is the first building put on the face of the earth, and this is the greatest and the holiest spot on earth for Muslims. And the Holy Mosque is the direction Muslims in their prayers

Which places are important in Makkah ? Kaaba,is the center of the holiest place of worship in Islam .the Sacred Mosque of Mecca, Al Masjid Al-Haram. Its is a home or a room that looks like a cube.. It is a cube shaped stone structure built in the middle of the Sacred Mosque. The Kaaba was built by prophet Abraham , for the sole purpose of worshipping of God alone 2-Kaaba

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and involves going to Makkah and performing certain rituals as well as visiting sacred places at a specified time of the year. Like Umrah, Twaaf and Saai are required in addition to standing in Arfa. Hajj = pilgrimage
