Step 3: mixed red & black acrylic paint and water to “splash” the image. Then used a straw to blow the paint. :

Step 8: placed pieces into a skull bottle filled with water. (except the hand) :

Step 9: used photoshop to flip the image, place the torn up hand piece on top of the original hand, and place the skull facing the girl. Added some black at the right to make it look like the door was opening. :
