Back round :Back round Born August 15, 1769 and son to Carlo and Letizia on Mediterranean island of Corsica.
Napoleon Bonaparte is one of histories most historical and legendary figures.
 Napoleon inspired lots of famous people and non famous people.
Napoleon was part of a nobility family.
Napoleon was not a French origin.
He went to the collage of Brienne in France on a scholarship from France.
He also went to the French Military academy, where he studied advanced tactics and strategies.
Napoleon was super intelligent and still graduated 42 of a class of 52.
Rise To Power :Rise To Power His childhood years were subtle for a man who would control most of Europe.
He was a keen reader and a workaholic.
From 1784 to 1785 Napoleon was school at the Ecole Militaire in Paris.
Napoleon was well educated in mathematics, which aided him into becoming an officer.
This was when Napoleon began to rise through the ranks.
First Consul :First Consul At the age of 30 Napoleon became the first counsel.
Napoleon had many amazing victories in Italy.
He wanted peace but Austria and England didn’t see it the same why he did.
Napoleon and his armies defeated the Austrian army at the battle of Marengo.
The British signed a treaty with the French because of the battle of Marengo.

Concordat :Concordat The concordat was an agreement between Napoleon and Pope Pius VII.
The Concordat would help his position as a leader, and would give him the support of the peasant people.
This made Roman Catholic the top religion in France at that time.
In 1802 Napoleon made the Organic Article to support the concordat.
Lycee System Of Education :Lycee System Of Education Created in 1802 was considered as state schools.
The Lycées trained the future French privileged for more than a hundred years.
This was for mostly young boys, normally from the higher class.
Napoleon had created the school so he would have control of the future officers, administrators, engineers, and professionals.
The creators of the Lycées encouraged by the mold of the colleges, which included religious education and practices.
The school was a closed boarding school with a military-type discipline, which, welcomed scholarship students as well as paying students.
Legion Of Honor :Legion Of Honor Legion was a a group for all men.
It was made by Napoleon in 1801.
The medal was awarded by Napoleon
The medal was a small white cross attached to a red silk ribbon
There also was a hospital run by the legion.
There were 48 000 men that were part of the legion
The Code Of Napoleon :The Code Of Napoleon The Code of Napoleon was a bunch of laws made by Napoleon.
There were over 1550 laws in the Code of Napoleon.

Empress Josephine lived in French Isle of Martinique.
Her first husband was Alexandre de Beauharnais.
Napoleonic Europe :Napoleonic Europe Is when Napoleon took Austria and Prussia.
He also took Western and a large part of Central Europe.
He turned all of this into an Empire of his own.
Major Military Campaigns 1805 :Major Military Campaigns 1805 The Third Coalition was a major campaign lead by Napoleon in 1805.
 In this campaign Napoleon out thought and out fought the third Coalition.
The Third Coalition’s leader, Ulm, surrendered to Napoleon’s army.
The Battle of Austerlitz :The Battle of Austerlitz This was Napoleon’s greatest victory.
Austerlitz was a trap to wipe out the Russia army.
The Austerlitz trick was a trick make the opposing army to think they were weaker then they really were and then surprising them with reinforcements attacking from the side or behind.
The Battle of Trafalgar :The Battle of Trafalgar The battle took place at Cape Trafalgar off the South Western coast of Spain, south of Cadiz.
The British Navy was attacking the France Navy and Spain
There were 25 British ships and other smaller ships
There were 23 French ships and 15 Spain ships with some smaller ships.

Most of the countries surrounding France were trying to take out France
The French fleet was trying to keep the English Channel.
The surrounding countries were doing there best, trying to put Napoleon in his place

It was very cold and it took a long time.
Continental System :Continental System With the Continental system Napoleon wanted to control Spain.
Forced King Charles IV and his son, Ferdinand VII to make Napoleons brother (Joseph Bonaparte) King of Spain.
No July 1808, Napoleon sent an army of 200 000 to regain Spain.
Josephine’s’/Napoleons’ Divorce Statements of 1807 :Josephine’s’/Napoleons’ Divorce Statements of 1807 Napoleon had a mistress. (Eleonore Denuelle).
Eleonore Denuelle was also pregnant with his child.
When the child was born, this brought up the divorce.

Second wife of Napoleon Bonaparte
Is the daughter of Francis I.
Was from Austria.
