How to set your language settings Even if you get an error that says “Setup was unable to install the chosen locale. Please contact your system Adminsitrator.” 1. First of all go to your contol panel
Slide 2:2. Go to regional and language options
Slide 3:3. Go inside languages
Slide 4:4. Make sure you checked the box for your language. (For hebrew you have to check the upper box)
Slide 5:5. Go to advanced
Slide 6:6. Select the language you want to install (I took Hebrew as an example).
Slide 7:7. Now check all your language boxes in the bottom of the page ( for hebrew you will have to check all the boxes in the pictures)
Slide 8:8.Press apply
Slide 9:9. If you get an Error that says “Setup was unable.to install the chosen locale Please contact your system administrator” Do the following :
Get another copy of windows xp because your copy don’t have the supported files, or they have been removed when the image had been made.
Download 2 files and replace them in C:\windows\inf directory Click here for file 1
Click here for file 2
3. And now do Steps
1-8 all over again.
Slide 10:10. And at the End it will ask your windows XP cd . So just insert the other cd that is different from what you installed windows from or else it wont work. The best way is to use the Original windows cd or a copy that worked fine. Hope you guys enjoyed my tutorial. And I hope it saved you few Formats and lots of time and headache.
