Here are a few important notes to keep in mind, and a quick list of important details for your reference. Operating System Media Like all major vendors, Acer machines ship with the original Operating System media stored in soft copy on a hidden partition on the hard drive. This feature gives the ability to do a quick restore from the hard disk either by invoking it at start up (by pressing the ALT & F10 keys simultaneously several times before Windows starts) or via the Acer eRecovery tools pre-installed on the machine. N.B. The Acer eRecovery tool will prompt you at start up to create back up disk of this recovery system (which includes the OS). Acer Support If you are having trouble with the machine, Acer has an 0800 support number that you can call, to arrange for the machine to be serviced. If you are having trouble, you can view the online Acer helpdesk at www.acer.com.au/helpdesk or call their support line on: 0800 233 769 When calling the support line, please ensure that you have the following information ready: Computer Serial Number (this can be found on a sticker on the machine, prefixed by SNID) Date of Purchase from FirstIn Should you have any issues, or require further information, please email helpplease@firstin.co.nz for assistance. Thanks, and enjoy your new machine! You do not have the permission to view this presentation. In order to view it, please contact the author of the presentation.
