around the globe face water shortages.
Women and children have to spend much time and energy
fetching drinking water.

Slide 19:Open water holes are sometimes inaccessible and often contaminated.
Water for agriculture is scarce with terrible results for crops.

Poverty, sanitation problems, illnesses, little or no education, follow as part of their daily routines ....
