Admit it- you’re first reaction was “OMG she is actually alive!” Well, yes I am and sorry for not updating recently but I’ve been under a ton of coursework and had a few other problems to sort out that are more important than sims. I really didn’t know what to call this chapter. It’s a hard one to name. I went with “Do You Know?” as it is from a song I have written for my music coursework and I think it sums it up pretty well. So I hope you like this chapter as you follow Pong and Ellie having BABIES *cough* and the other funs of family life. I hope it is worth the long wait and I will promise to make next chapter better as it’s the holidays now so I will have more time (:So enjoy my failing chapter! -Steph

Slide 3: 

Hello there, and welcome back to the Addiction Legacy! Last chapter, Ellie went through a stage that almost every girl goes through and hated how she looked and how people treated her. Pong, her teenage boyfriend, persuaded her she was beautiful no matter how she looked. And now we have downgrading time! I am weird; I LOVE downgrading. I have no idea why! I have been looking forward to this moment for a few generations now. So shall we get on with our story and lame plotlines?

Slide 4: 

Pong and Ellie decided to get married even though they don't have an arch or a beautiful location but they have each other and more sickening romantic stuff like that.

Slide 5: 

"And I Ellie, take you, Pong to be my fellow self-hater and we can share our low self-esteem from years of bullying together and wallow in our self pity“ What marriage is about?

Slide 6: 

"Honeyyyyy....“ “Ellie, is this something to do with your family sim wants?“ "Maybe, my lovely pretty baby maker...“ "But you're parents and Number 5 can't leave us alone unless they all go into the teeny bathroom!“ "But my wants! I might go a step further and self-harm as I am sooooo ugly and awful and my husband doesn't want to have children with me and then I will...“ "Alright! Babies it is!“ "YAY!"

Slide 7: 

Dixie- I love you! She is finally a celebrity chef which is her LTW and a high paying career! We will have a shoebox house in no time!

Slide 8: 

“Dear Diary, I got promoted today and it's great. Ellie and Pong will have the perfect house to raise their children. We have a shoebox house at the moment, but they need a bigger one. Me and Komei are growing old today so at least I will be in platinum for that. But I am very worried about Ellie though. I feel that something isn't right. I think she is going to be attacked by an army of gnomes.“ Never written a diary entry about gnomes before. But, you know, whatever does it for you.

Slide 9: 

"Dixie, we are growing up! I am going to be so much hotter than you!“ "Yeah, honey, you keep telling yourself that."

Slide 10: 

"I wish I can be a lot more prettier than her!” “I wish I can be a lot more prettier than him!” Who said looks don't matter, eh?

Slide 11: 

So here is Dixie as an elder. "Shh, I am reading!“ I love Dixie; she is a science sim yet all her wants are to write novels, read novels and watch films. She is amazingly weird. I get on with people like that.

Slide 12: 

Komei, you broke the mirror!!! "I think you'll find that it is designed like that“ Ruin my fun, Komei, ruin my fun."Your fun was aimed at me“ Which makes it more fun!

Slide 13: 

Ahhh, this reminds me of Felicity and Patrick and their shoebox house. I miss those days *sniff sniff*

"BABY!"

Slide 15: 

"Honey, I thought you were supposed to hate how you look and couldn’t bare to look at mirrors because they remind you of how much you hate your looks?“ "I have 10 outgoing points. I just have an obsession with mirrors!“ "Steph, you messed that one up!“ I know. It’s a talent.

Slide 16: 

"Baby bump number two? Already?!” Life is boring in a shoebox. We need children to make it more fun.

Slide 17: 

Number 5 is the only member in the family to have 10 mechanical points so when he needs repairing, nobody but him has the skills so Dixie is the one with the next highest points and keeps getting electrocuted.

Slide 18: 

Best electrocuted face ever, me thinks.

Slide 19: 

"It's coming, Steph!“ Puuuuuuush! "I AM BLOODY PUSHING!“ Then... erm... push more! "Don't make me get mean, young lady!“ That is NOT how you talk to your creator! I’m gonna smite you so hard one day...

Slide 20: 

Meet Fred. Named after Fred Wealsey from the Harry Potter books. Fred has a twin brother called George and is a lot of fun. I don't think I can write him as good as he was in the books, but oh well.

Slide 21: 

"YAY! Baby!“ Ellie was a family sim and she knew one of her biggest wants had been given but something made her feel a bit down. She had spent years dreaming of the moment when she would hold her son or daughter in her arms and look into their little eyes and see her future ahead of her. She looked little Fred in the eyes but didn't feel anything. "You just gave birth, Ellie, you're not going to feel normal...“ Ellie said to herself, trying but failing to make herself feel better. Why did it make her feel so empty when she had dreamed about it for so long?

Slide 22: 

"Honey, what happened to your hair?“ "Well, in this game the hair doesn't grow for itself over time but my hair grew longer and it is more manageable! I feel a bit better about myself!“ "That's nice, honey but shouldn't you be looking after Fred?“ Ellie didn't want to answer truthfully but she didn't want to lie either. "I just want a bit of a break after the labour. I'll go see him in a bit, I am just hungry“ Dixie knew something wasn't quite right, but after all; Ellie had just gone through a lot of pain so she let her off. And went to check on him herself.

Slide 23: 

It was late and everyone was in bed, apart from Number 5 who was fixing the shower that was always broken and going berserk afterwards because of the water, and Ellie snuck into her son's bedroom and stroked his head as he slept. She hadn’t realised it earlier but he was amazingly beautiful. She kissed his head and left the room.

Slide 24: 

"Woo, honey! You let him grow up well!“ "It's so hard with this annoyingly red plumbob above my head!“ I love downgrading, but it's so hard sometimes!

Slide 25: 

“Mummy, isn’t Fwed bootiful?”, Fred said, stroking his reflection in the mirror giggling as he did so.Ellie watched him. Most mother’s would have giggled at their playfulness, some would’ve told them to stop but Ellie just watched. She felt empty as she held the toddler in her arms. An emptiness she hadn’t felt since college.

Slide 26: 

Ellie put her son to bed but stopped on her way out. She wasn’t feeling too good.

Slide 27: 

Maybe that was why?

Slide 28: 

Ellie tried to teach Fred to talk but he just wasn’t responding.“Fred, can you please just try?”“No. I wanna pwayyyy” Ellie tried. She really did. But it was so hard.

Slide 29: 

Ellie gave in and put Fred in his bedroom to play for a bit. She would ask her mum to try with him later but she was too tired and with another baby on the way she needed rest.

Slide 30: 

THE PLEASANTVIEW NEWS Police have noticed a pattern of raids that have taken place throughout Pleasantview. They suspect that these raids have been carried out by the same robbers. 3 jewellery shops have been affected along with 4 banks. Police are investigating further into these raids. The police said- Story continued page 4

Slide 31: 

“Number 5, where is mummy?”“I think she is busy” “But I want mummy!”Number 5 wanted to get Ellie but he didn’t know where she was. She never seemed to be around for her son. “Why don’t we take you to the cake!”Fred stretched his arms out as if he wanted Number 5 to pick him up and take him to the cake.

And so it’s time for Fred to grow up

“I think I’m having a baby!”She was always smart.

Slide 35: 

Meet Fleur. Fleur is named after Fleur Delacour from the Harry Potter books. She is French, blond and pretty as she is half veela (which is never mentioned in the films and really annoys me). That’s pretty much everything about her.

Slide 36: 

STUPID WOLF!Ok, so he’s not really a wolf but he looks like one. You gotta love NNA’s 100 dream dates challenge.

Slide 37: 

What’s the similarity between an elder and a baby?Neither can control when they pee.

Slide 38: 

So here is Fred after a make over. Unfortunately, he has inherited most of his father’s genetics. I love Pong but he has nasty genetics. Another face 1 spouse next generation, me thinks?

Slide 39: 

I lost Fleur’s birthday photos. One bad thing about using PowerPoint is it is so hard to sort out the photos.So, anyway, here is Fleur as a toddler and like Fred, she has inherited her father’s awful nose.

Slide 40: 

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it. This probably won’t make sense to you but just before I took this photo I shouted “I hate, you Komei!” at the screen and then he started doing this. It cracks me up so much. He won’t skill ‘cause he is always sleeping. As in always. You can wave your arms about as much as you like, Bird Nose, but I still don’t like you.

Slide 41: 

So you have a poor family living in a seriously small house and then these wolves come in and eat all the furniture. Is that really helpful? No.

Slide 42: 

Ok, you can eat that. We don’t want it.

Slide 43: 

She’s such a show off, isn’t she? Getting into her sports car in her posh outfit. I’ve always preferred her to Komei. She is my cyber-daughter, so I guess I would. She has beautiful genetics- all from me of course.

Slide 44: 

I can’t find a lot of photos, so here is Fleur growing up. Toddlers are boring anyway so I saved you a lot of time watching her play with bricks and throwing up over unexpecting relatives.Yeah- lame excuses.

Slide 45: 

“Mum, is it really fair that I didn’t get much screen time?”“It wasn’t on purpose, Fleur”“Do you think so? Mummy, can I have a hug to make up for it?”“You’re too old for hugs now! Are you going to be able to hug me when you’re unhappy at school?”“I guess not...”“Well finish your dinner and get to bed” Fleur did as she was told; she finished her food, washed her plate up and went to bed without a hug.

The kids don’t get much photo time in this chapter so here is Fred’s birthday!Grow up with a better nose. Pleaaase.

“Fleur, don’t you think Steph hasn’t given us enough attention?”“It’s really unfair. I think we should get revenge by—” Sorry guys, that plot was done when your grandma was in college. “Oh well. But I wish mum would cuddle us more”“I don’t- I’m a teenage boy! I have to be insensitive and pretend that I hate that kinda thing. But I wish I had it more when I was younger.” “Same. I can’t remember the last time I had a hug from her. I think she doesn’t love us.” “I think she does. She just has a funny way of showing it.” But even he wasn’t entirely certain that she did.

Slide 50: 

Ellie decided to invite her old college friend, Maura round.“Ellie! It’s so great to see you! You’re pregnant?!”, her friend exclaimed. “Yeah, I have two children already!”“How did you move on with your life so fast?!” “I’m in a legacy; I was born to do it. Come inside so we don’t catch a cold!” “You certainly sound like a mother!”

Slide 51: 

“Ellie, why did you settle down so quick?”“Maura, I told you! I have to!” “But did you want to? that’s the question. You’re stuck here in a tiny house with your parents, a husband and two kids with another one on the way. Didn’t you ever want the taste of freedom?”

Slide 52: 

“Of course I wanted to, Maura. I’m a family sim! And we’re not going to be here much longer anyway. We just have to raise the money and we are moving to a better house. And I have had my taste of “the free life”- in college!”“I’m not sure, Ellie. You dropped out early” “I know but—” “Ellie, I think your aspiration meter is deceiving you. You’re not happy”“Yes I am.” She thought she was, anyway.

Slide 53: 

“Ellie, you’re really musical aren’t you?”“Not really. I haven’t picked up an instrument in years. I have to look after the kids.” Maura leant over the table and lowered her voice so Fred couldn’t hear.“Me and some friends have formed a band and we would really like you to join.” Ellie shook her head.“I have too many responsibilities. Pong wouldn’t want me to go and play at clubs every night. I’m a mother and wife now. I can’t do it.”

Slide 54: 

“Well, I better be off but if you change your mind just give me a ring, ok?”“Alright. But I doubt I will. I’ll see you soon, Maura!”and she left. “Mum, are you going to join her band?”“I just said- I won’t. I have to look after you and your sister” Fred wasn’t sure if she was doing that right now but he didn’t want to say. Instead he went off to his room and left his mum to fulfil her cravings.

Slide 55: 

Dixie spent most of her time writing novels. She loved leaving the shoebox house for a world of magic, far away lands, handsome strangers and dark-haired villains. It was also a nice way to get a bit more money for the new house that Dixie dreamed of owning.Dixie was searching for some more story ideas on news sites when an article caught her eye.

Slide 56: 

The Pleasantview Times ONLINE Pleasantview Police Are Baffled By More Raids Late last night, Pleasantview Police were called to 3 more banks in the town centre. Police are still unsure as to who has been carrying out the raids but are sure that they are all linked. We spoke to the chief policeman at the local police station, PC Gilscarbo- “We are not entirely sure of who it is that has carried out these raids but we can assure you that we are doing our absolute best to prevent them from happening again.” The crime scenes have all been fenced off so the police can carry out further investigation without disturbance. It is estimated that over 3,000,000 simoleons have been stolen in total since the beginning of the bank raids. We have been assured by the police that they will let us know when any further leads are given. Article by Nina Caliente

“Gran, have you heard about the bank raids?”“Yes I have. I can’t believe Pleasantview has got someone who is willing to steal from innocent people in it.”“They’ll come and steal Fleur next!”“NO!” “They will! They’ll sneak into the bedroom through the window when you’re asleep and take you during the night and no one will care ‘cause no one loves you!” “Fred! Don’t scare your sister! I love you, Fleur!” “Don’t worry, Gran, I’m not scared of him. We don’t even have a window in our bedroom.”“Oh yeah, didn’t think of that. Damn.”

“Kids, I also have some good news! We are moving house!” “Really?!” “Yes! We have finally raised enough money to buy the house Steph built for us”“So, basically, we are moving to a bigger shoe box”“Yep but at least you two won’t have to share anymore!” “We wouldn’t here anyway as FLEUR WILL GET STOLEN!”“Can it, Beaky”

“Bloody Hell! That is a big shoebox.”

Slide 60: 

Fleur had her own room now but she never had liked sleeping in new places and couldn’t sleep. She decided to watch a bit of television downstairs and wait for her daddy to come in from his night shift and read her a story to get off to sleep.She heard the door go and quickly jumped off of the sofa to give her dad a big cuddle.

“ARGH! THE BURGLAR HAS COME TO STEAL ME!” “Fleur, shhh!” “Since when do burglars have a key?!”
