If you use this microphone you can connect any standard headphones or ear buds to your computer for audio playback. Using headphones instead of your computer speakers will eliminate audio loopback. Software Suggestions :Software Suggestions Wimba Live Classroom – Wimba is an internet based communications package with interactive audio/video, text chat as well as document and desktop sharing capabilities. (No charge to user)


Software Suggestions :Software Suggestions (OCS) Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 (OCS) or Mac Messenger 7.01– This is a Microsoft Exchange component that has text chat and interactive audio/video capabilities. OCS is integrated with the UK video conferencing bridge which will allow connectivity from your desktop to an ITV room. (No charge to user) Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 – This is also a component of Microsoft Exchange that is capable of interactive audio/video as well as document and desktop sharing. Software Suggestions :Software Suggestions Second Life – Second Life is a virtual-reality environment. It requires that you download free software and create a free avatar (a representation of yourself). Although Second Life does involve a learning curve, once established in this virtual world, you can join the University of Kentucky group and become a “resident” of University of KY Island, or the university’s own region within Second Life. Several virtual buildings and rooms are available for meetings. Capable of interactive text chat and audio chat; capability to share images and presentations.
