Goals for 2008-2009 : Goals for 2008-2009 Spirituality Excellence Artistry Goals for 2008-2009 : Goals for 2008-2009 Spirituality Excellence Artistry Spirituality : Spirituality To learn to express our spiritual gifts through technical ability. Example: Encouragement (Romans 12:8). A video can encourage by: Reminding people of past accomplishments Reminding people of God’s promises Letting people know they are loved and appreciated Goals for 2008-2009 : Goals for 2008-2009 Spirituality Excellence Artistry Excellence : Excellence To develop excellent photographers, videographers, editors, and animators. Not the techniques, but the people. Personal growth in technical ability. Goals for 2008-2009 : Goals for 2008-2009 Spirituality Excellence Artistry Artistry : Artistry To grow in artistic vision and innovation If all our videos look the same, then we can lose our ability to connect with people. To express an old truth in a new way; we are translators. Obstacles : Obstacles Bad Planning/Communication Multiplied Training Loose Brainstorming Little Expression of Gifts Approach : Approach The Job System The Keeper System Approach : Approach The Job System The Keeper System The Job System: Jobs : The Job System: Jobs Four Jobs: Photographer Videographer Sequencer Animator The Photographer : The Photographer Main responsibility: Creating and organizing photographic content Main Tools: DSLR Camera and Accessories, Photoshop Traits: Eye for photography; Steady hand The Videographer : The Videographer Main Responsibilty: Creating and organizing video content Main Tools: Video Camera and Accessories, Final Cut Pro Traits: Eye for video shots, Steady hand The Sequencer : The Sequencer Main Responsibilty: Putting content into order to create whole video productions Main Tools: Final Cut Pro Traits: Rhythm/Timing; Attention to detail The Animator : The Animator Main Responsibilty: Taking ordered content and finishing it with effects and other movement Main Tools: After Effects, Motion Traits: Rhythm/Timing, Attention to detail, Likes math The Job System: Workflow : The Job System: Workflow Photographer: Photo taking, selection, and touch up Videographer: Video taking, clip selection, and sorting Sequencer: Editing and sequencing Animator: Animation and effects The Job System: Personnel : The Job System: Personnel Each member will have a “Main Job” This “Main” will characterize their involvement in the team. If a member so desires, a “Sub” can also be taken on.
