You want to place your launching pad in an open field away from trees, houses, and highways. Always watch out for things that can harm or be harmed by your rocket. Checklist : Checklist Before launching the rocket you also want to check a lot of things that might throw the rockets flight off. Check : Check For loose launch lugs, fins, and shock cords. If the nose cone is too tight The recovery system If the launching pad is weighted down For harsh weather such as wind, rain, snow, or hail. Make sure that you remove the safety key before connecting the clip to the wires for the igniters Do Not : Do Not There are certain things you don’t want to do in order for it to be a safe and successful flight Do Not (Continued) : Do Not (Continued) Brew home-made fuel Change the casing of the engine or the nozzle Use anything but pre-packaged model rockets Use any metal parts Use lighting or Fusing Play near the launching pad Misfires : Misfires If you try to launch your rocket and it does not succeed, your going to need to either disconnect its battery or removes the launchers safety lock and wait 60 seconds before approaching the rocket.
